We are proud to announce that our Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Clarke, has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to education, as part of His Majesty The King’s Birthday Honours List for 2025.
This prestigious recognition celebrates Jamie’s outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to transforming the life chances of young people through education. The OBE is a distinguished honour awarded for contributions to the arts, sciences, charitable work, and public service beyond the civil service.
Jamie co-founded Tove Learning Trust nine years ago with a vision of creating a family of schools committed to inspiring education that leads to outstanding outcomes. Under his inspirational leadership, the Trust has grown into a thriving Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), providing outstanding education and nurturing environments where pupils, regardless of their backgrounds and life experiences, are empowered to excel both academically and personally.
Throughout his career, Jamie has championed inclusivity, collaboration, and opportunity. By encouraging the sharing of best practices across schools, he has fostered a culture of high expectations, professional growth, and remarkable outcomes for both children and staff. His dedication to improving educational standards is grounded in a strong belief in the transformative power of education and its potential to change lives.
Beyond his work at Tove Learning Trust, Jamie continues to shape the wider educational landscape. He has served as an Ofsted Lead Inspector for many years and was recently appointed as a RISE Adviser for the Department for Education, providing expert guidance at a national level and contributing to the mission of improving education.
