We are delighted to announce that Knowles Primary School has been rated Good by Ofsted, with 4 out of the 5 inspection areas achieving an Outstanding rating.
This achievement reflects the exceptional efforts and dedication of the entire school community, marking a significant milestone in Knowles Primary School's transformative journey since joining the trust in September 2020.
This achievement follows the school's recent recognition as the Primary School of the Year at the inaugural Milton Keynes Education Awards in September.
Ofsted inspectors stated that “pupils enjoy attending their inclusive school” and “staff use their expert training to make sure that pupils secure the most important knowledge and concepts”.
They also noted that “outcomes for all pupils, including those with SEND, are strong” and that “pupils’ attitudes to learning are exemplary.”
The school’s guiding values of ‘Keep Learning, Take Pride, Stay Safe, Be Kind, and Aim High’ have played a pivotal role in shaping a positive learning environment for students and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The recent report stated “[the pupils] have a deep-rooted understanding of how their school values help them make the right choices”.
Headteacher Sarah Rice stated “It is with such great pleasure that we would like to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted report. Knowles has been on such an incredible journey and we are so proud of how far the school has come. This is a well deserved result for our whole community.
